Dedicated to the Preservation and Restoration of the Whole of Creation
"And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good.
And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day" (Genesis 1:31)
Red-tailed Hawk in Flight -
The red-tailed hawk is a magnificent looking bird as it soars through the sky in
seemingly effortless flight, but to other living beings, it is a sign of terror,
for the red-tailed hawk kills other animals for food. This hawk, and the other
red-tailed hawks we see soaring around Sleepy Hollow or perched on a tree or
utility pole, are a constant reminder of our daily prayer that Isaiah's prophecy
of the peaceable kingdom (Isaiah 11:6-9) would come to pass in the hear and now;
that the time would come when both human and animal would cease their killing
and destroying, and that the earth would truly be filled with the knowledge of
the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

Presented here are just a few of the countless components of God's creation. Just as we
cannot have human and animal life without water and plants, neither can we have
lasting peace without love and compassion. It is our hope and prayer that
this series will motivate people to live and act in a cruelty-free manner; that
we would no longer hurt or destroy each other, the animals or our environment.
