"And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good.
And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day" (Genesis 1:31)

Sunset in the Smokies - In the Bible, we learn that the Hebrew (Jewish) day
begins at sunset. The sunset also signaled the end of each day's work, and at
the same time it ushered in a new day that began with a time of rest and being
with one's family; a time to reflect upon the things of God. No matter where we
are in the world, we have these reminders of God's ever presence, and the hope
of better tomorrows.
