Baking Yeast - An Unusual Perspective

We purchase our dry baking yeast in 1 or 2 pound packages and store it in our refrigerator in tightly sealed glass jars. Every time we bake bread, we notice that the yeast is affected by static electricity (a work of the Creator). It stands out from the edges of our plastic measuring spoon like little hairs. Until we took this photo, we never realized that commercial yeast was produced as little cylinders. The yeast cylinders appear to have been charged, and the electromagnetic field around them causes them to line up end to end.
