Tell Westchester County to Enact Legislation that Restricts Animal-user Circuses and/or Bullhooks

From: Animal Defenders of Westchester (ADOW)
August 15, 2016

Please contact the members of the Westchester County Labor, Parks committee and politely but strongly request they enact legislation that restricts animal-user circuses and/or bullhooks, as has been enacted elsewhere. The same letter can be sent to each member. You don't have to be a Westchester resident to contact them; if you are, indicate that.

(Sample letter)

Dear Legislator ___________ As a concerned, humane citizen ("...and voting resident constituent of Westchester County") I strongly urge you to vote in support of a bill that would ban traveling animal acts and/or bullhooks, on County property, as has been enacted in many other venues. Westchester is a beautiful county that should be a leader in such enlightened, decent policies. Thank you in advance for your immediate attention in this matter.
