Animal Control Stops Dog Fighting Ring

(Buffalo, NY, January 12, 2005) - - Buffalo Animal Control Officers say they've taken a major bite out of illegal dog fighting in the City.

It's a story you saw first on News 4. Officers rounded up a dozen Pit Bulls during a bust on Laurel Street yesterday. They also seized 2 treadmills, heavy chains and a cow's hide used for training.

Several tip calls led officers to the homes.
