Horse nonsense
Tuckahoe, N.Y.: I had to laugh at Voicer Donna Putnam’s fantasy that a horse alone in a pasture would prefer being shackled with a metal plate in his mouth and dragging a ton of carriage tourists, with a whip over his head, through the heat and cold with his nose in exhaust fumes. Fix his shed if you really want to help him. Instead, Putnam would take his freedom away and give him a life of drudgery and slavery. The walk in the park will be lovely for you, but not for him.
