CELEBRITY SPEAKS OUT FOR ANIMALS ON CABLE SHOW FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: NEW YORK, NY December 13, 2004 Animal Defenders of Westchester is pleased
to announce a new cable tv show entitled PET PEEVES, which will cover a
variety of animal protection issues. On our upcoming premiere show,
actress/comedian Amy Sedaris, recently seen on “Sex and the City” and Comedy
Central, discusses her distain for real fur clothing, since becoming a
rabbit guardian. Amy will soon be featured in Peta’s ‘What becomes a legend
least’ campaign. Also on the show is CARING ACTIVISTS AGAINST FUR, with guest bunny
Juliet, as well as horrifically graphic trapping, fur farm, and anal/genital
electrocution coverage. The show will be airing shortly in New York City,
Westchester and parts of New Jersey. In lower Westchester it will appear on
Channel 18 on Jan. 7, 2005, from 5 - 5:30 pm. Each segment runs for six
weeks. Kiley Blackman, the show’s producer said, “Our show is going to be like
no other on tv for the animals; great conversation, interesting guests,
controversial issues and video that’s not been seen on any tv stations in
this area.“ |
