From Sarah about Skinning Animals Alive For Fur
Oct 12, 2012

I just saw a horrific picture of a raccoon dog skinned alive.

Why in God's name is that okay?  Where do any of these companies who buy the fur get off thinking that this is okay ??

What is the purpose of keeping them alive ?? It's NOT right!  I just signed a petition asking companies to label their products correctly and instead of just "raccoon" or however they label it they use "raccoon dog."

I'd much rather sign a petition asking companies to STOP using fur in their products at all. This is 2012, people, we don't NEED fur any more to keep us warm.  That was long ago!

And how can we at the very least for these animals get them to STOP skinning these poor animals ALIVE.

I'm sick to my stomach over it. HELP !

Dear Sarah:
Thank you very much for your impassioned comments. We feel the same way and ask the same questions, but through this exposure many companies did stop ordering raccoon dog fur, but they still sneak it in as trim, and even worse, some of it was sent as faux fur.
This is why it is so important for all of us to speak out against all fur products, even fake ones, and even better to stop eating or buying any animal products. What is happening to animals is definitely against Godís heavenly will.
We believe that those Chinese skinned the raccoon dogs alive for entertainment value, as they often to with domestic dogs and cats.
We look forward to hearing from you again.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
