resource for AR groups is the United Way's manual, "Measuring Program
Outcomes, A Practical Approach." I recently attended a strategy meeting
sponsored by an animal protection organization which uses the methodology
and logic-models described in the manual and it proved to be an effective
way to organize a lot of campaign ideas/goals quickly, and it provided an
outline of measurable outcomes and timelines for the campaign. Also, since
everyone received the same logic-model and the agreed-upon campaign course
(complete with notations about who would complete what task), the chances
of tasks
falling-through-the-cracks was minimized.
