Help Us Find Him
by Guila Manchester

He's just a little dog, Lord,
And he doesn't know the meaning of sin.
So please make someone, somewhere,
Open up their heart and take him in.

He is so very little,
And he's old and not too strong.
And unless somebody helps him,
He can't live very long.

So if he's wandering aimlessly,
Just frightened and alone,
Then please, Lord, help us find him.
Please let us bring him home.

And if he's hurt or suffering,
Please make his suffering cease.
Look down in thine infinite mercy
And give thy creature peace.
