Lost and Found
by Justin Hayward
in memory of Atilla, PrkStrangr's cat who passed on this week

I was lost, I was wondering in the dark
I was searching for the spark that would light my life.

I was lost, I didn't know where I was from
I was always on the run, trying to find myself.

I was out on my own, then you brought me back home.
I was lost but now I'm found, I'm so glad that you're around
to shelter me.

I was lost, I didn't know the words to say
I just couldn't find a way to express myself.

I was blind. I just couldn't read my mind.
I didn't know what I would find when I met myself.

I was out on my own, then you brought me back home.
I was lost but now I'm found, I'm so glad that you're around
to shelter me.

And I love the way you tell me that you love me yes I do.
And I love the way you ask me if I love you yes I do.

I was lost. There was so much I had to learn.
I didn't know which way to turn til I turned to you.

I was wrong. I should have seen it all along
I couldn't find where I belonged til I belonged to you.

I was out on my own Then you brought me back home.
I was lost but now I'm found, I'm so glad that you're around
to shelter me.
