The California ag-gag bill is dead! Everyone who opposed AB 343 with their phone calls, letters, and emails - thank you. It is because of you that the author chose to withdraw this bill.

AB 343 would have criminalized undercover photography and video footage captured at farms and slaughterhouses. It would even have exempted farms from turning over any footage of animal cruelty captured on surveillance cameras. The bill was a clear attempt at keeping animal cruelty on farms hidden from public eye.

But thanks to you, the ag-gag bill is dead in California!
