Recently, cable station Turner Network Television (TNT) announced plans to run a reality show featuring notorious animal abusers Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. TNT cameras intend to follow Ringling as it travels from city to city, but you can bet that one reality — the animal abuse — will be kept hidden from viewers (see PETA undercover video for a dose of reality). This show will be nothing more than a lengthy Ringling commercial. Viewers surely won't see the behind-the-scenes abuse of elephants, tigers, horses, and other animals.

Please contact Turner Entertainment Networks and politely urge them to abandon plans to air the Ringling reality show.

Remind them that after learning of the abuse inherent in animal circuses, major corporations like Denny's, Lukoil, General Mills, Burger King, Liz Claiborne, MasterCard, Visa, and Sears, Roebuck & Co. ended their promotions of circuses like Ringling and UniverSoul.
