April 2018
In addition to protecting Good Samaritans who take action to save vulnerable citizens, such as children, and pets from perishing in hot cars, the new law promises to educate the public and bring attention to the issue of leaving children and pets in hot cars.
The victories for Kansas animals are coming fast and furious at the Statehouse, and they are due to the positive impact of committed animal advocates such as yourself.
Whether it was contacting your district’s legislator, writing a Letter
to the Editor, providing testimony, or a myriad of other activities, please
take a minute to celebrate these two important victories.
