On March 1, 2011, a legal claim brought by North Shore Kennel of Lynn was dismissed!

North Shore Kennel run by the O'Donnell Family, served Wonderland Greyhound Park until the voters of Massachusetts went to the ballot in 2008 and ordered an end to dog racing in the Commonwealth.

Plaintiffs, kennel owners, sought not only to overturn the will of the people, but further, sought damages for what was described as the "unconstitutional" Greyhound Protection Act (Question 3) of 2008.

Thankfully, the court dismissed these claims and dog racing remains illegal in the Commonwealth.

Hooray for the greyhounds!
