Watch SHARK videos: Pigeon Shoots and Pigeon Shoot Dead Pile, Some Still Alive

SHARK has waged a three-month long campaign calling for the resignation of John C. Sigler, Chairman of the Delaware Republican party, due to the horrendous acts of animal cruelty he commits when he participates in cruel, live pigeon shoots at the notorious Philadelphia Gun Club, located in Bucks County, PA.

SHARK first revealed that Sigler was a pigeon shooter in a YouTube video published on March 9, 2013. A little more than a month later, on April 17, 2013, SHARK investigator Stu Chaifetz traveled to the Delaware State House where Sigler had just spoken at an NRA rally. Chaifetz confronted Sigler after the rally and said, "You've been asked to resign because you've committed animal cruelty at pigeon shoots."

Sigler turned and walked away as Chaifetz asked him more questions about why he enjoys shooting pigeons. That video was carried on local Delaware political websites and has been seen thousands of times on YouTube.

Ten days later, Chaifetz and two other SHARK activists rented a room at the hotel where the Delaware GOP State Party convention was held. Wearing a shirt that said, "Only cowards torture animals - John Sigler: Resign from the Delaware GOP," Chaifetz sat in front of the entrance to the convention room and spoke to attendees about Sigler's cruelty and that he should be asked to resign. That went on for an hour and a half. One month and two days later, John Sigler has resigned.
