Big human problems like disease, poverty, war, eliminationism, sexism, and racism remain intractable because animal abuse is not widely recognized as their root cause. Ignorance of causes makes solutions impossible.
The new wave of the animal-rights movement and the Animal Rights
Conversation Corps (ARCC) distinguish between animal abuse and cruelty to
animals. The animal-welfare regime and the first wave of the “animal rights
movement” treat them as the same – a big reason attitudes remain unchanged
and the animals’ plight steadily worsens.
Animal Abuse: The Whole Story reveals that animal abuse is civilization’s
predominant policy, cruelty to animals the minuscule portion perpetrated to
cause pain and suffering. Animal abuse in its full scope, dating to
prehistoric times, is a root cause of human misery.
Big human problems like disease, poverty, war, eliminationism, sexism, and
racism remain intractable because animal abuse is not widely recognized as
their root cause. Ignorance of causes makes solutions impossible.
To establish such radical change as equal autonomy, ecology, and dignity
rights of all animals, the self-interest of humans in embracing the change
must become widely known. RPA’s new brochure provides the most succinct
explanation anywhere. And it identifies great sources neglected by popular
advocacy.
Also, remember to sign up for the April 6th New Animalism Lecture & Workshop
– just over a week away. Thanks to all who already plan to take part! The
new brochure will be available there.
