In a recent update, we asked you to contact the government of Penela Portugal to ask them to ban bullfighting in their city.
According to our friends at the International Movement Against Bullfights (who are running this campaign) the bill to ban bullfights passed 21 - 0.
Bullfighting is now illegal in this city!
Thank you for helping end this bloody cruelty in Penela!
