Review:

Four Paws from Heaven, while presented as a collection of devotions, is really a collection of short dog stories (vignettes) that show the parallel relationship between a "pet" dog and their human "master", with that of the way our relationship should be with God. Each story is then followed by a Bible verse and a question that asks the reader to "consider this".  So, from our standpoint, Four Paws from Heaven is more of book to help us meditate on the ways of God that we would live in His heavenly will here on earth as it is in heaven.

While reading Four Paws from Heaven, we kept thinking about the way that God created every animal to be our companion, as a way of reminding us of the way our relationship should be with Him.  In reality, we are to see every animal as a heavenly messenger from God, to be treated with the same loving, compassionate and peacemaking ways that we desire God to treat us.
