Milk and Prostate Cancer

A study published in the Journal of Nutrition shows that milk intake is associated with Prostate Cancer mortality among U.S. male physicians.( J. Nutr. 2013 143: 2 189-196; first published online December 19, 2012.)

Since there is nothing logical to suggest that physicians are different than other men in this regard, it seems obvious that doctors should be telling their patients to replace milk with plant-based beverages, as well as following this advice themselves. Both whole milk and lowfat milk were implicated in higher risk.
