(Cohotate Preserve - 5 September 2001 Field Trip - 45) We took this photo from the same location as the previous one.   We are looking northward along the western bank of the Hudson River.  The area where we walked along the shoreline is just to the right of the center of the photo, and just above the smooth patch of water.  A piece of "white" driftwood can also be seen on the shore in that location.  This photo also shows that we can have areas of recovered pristine beauty, even in the midst of industrialization.

Lamb Right Lamb Left Presented here are just a few of the countless components of God's creation.  Just as we cannot have human and animal life without water and plants, neither can we have lasting peace without love and compassion.  It is our hope and prayer that this series will motivate people to live and act in a cruelty-free manner; that we would no longer hurt or destroy each other, the animals or our environment.
