Another confirmed case of mad cow disease in Japan
This month, one more case of mad cow disease, BSE (bovine spongiform encephalopathy), has been confirmed in Japan. This is the 30th case since it first appeared in Japan in 2001. The 5- year-old dairy cow who died in a ranch of Northern Japan will be incinerated so her body is not used for consumption or as feed.
