Miserable Chickens
Researchers are trying to end the debate between those who think
that egg-laying hens in battery cages live miserable lives due to
their intense confinement and those who think that they are
perfectly happy to be caged. Bruce Friedrich, a spokesman for People

Researchers Ask: Are Caged Chickens Miserable?
It seems absurd there are people questioning that battery caged
hens live miserable lives. These hens are deprived from their most
basic God-given instincts and are treated like mere commodities
since the egg industry is driven by taste and profit, and not by
ethical behavior. Unless we show compassion to God's animals we are
not following Jesus' example.
