Meat Products Linked to Urinary Tract Infections
This might be good news for those with recurring urinary tract
infections since they might be able to prevent them just by not animals,
especially chicken. A new study published by the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention showed that bacteria from chicken products may be
a major cause of urinary tract infections. Researchers examined urine
samples from women who had urinary tract infections and matched E. coli
in the samples to E. coli from contaminated food. They also found that
most of the E. coli was ingested through retail meat products (61
percent of which were chicken products) and ready-to-eat products (73
percent of which were meat products). To read the full article please

One more reason to stop eating animal products is the extensive
contamination with bacteria, such as E. coli. A plant-based diet,
prescribed by God to humans as the book of Genesis tells us, should be
our ideal choice to keep our bodies healthy and to follow Jesus'
teaching of compassion, mercy and love.
