Apple, Banana and Carrot Smoothie

Ingredients
*Apples
*Bananas
*Carrots
*Flax Seeds, raw, whole (great source of omega 3 fatty acids)
*Ice Cubes
*Cold Water
Preparation
- In the container of a high-speed blender, place approximately
equal amounts of cored apple pieces, peeled bananas, washed and
peeled carrot pieces, and ice.
- Add the flax seed to the blender container (for each 12 oz. of
smoothie add 1 tbsp. - a great source of omega 3 fatty acids). Cover
blender container and run blender at high speed until contents are
smooth. Add some cold water as necessary to aid the blending
process.
- If too thick, add more cold water and blend again to desired
consistency.
