India is Turning more Vegan-Friendly
According to People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India
five years ago there were about 2,000 vegans in India and today there
are 20,000. These numbers seem to be due to the raise in awareness about
the dairy industry but also to the accessibility of vegan products and
business, such as restaurants and bakeries, which in a sense challenge
the basics of the country’s dietary legacy: its obsession with milk and
other dairy products.

Going off the milky way
It is no surprise that more people are becoming vegan once they learn
about the inherent cruelty of the dairy and egg industries. However, the
numbers are still low, compared to the total population. It is
imperative that more people learn that a vegan diet can be easy to
attain and to learn about its benefits for all Creation.
