Surgery or Plant-Based Diet?

In an article published on this week's issue of the American Journal of Cardiology, renowned Cleveland Clinic researcher Caldwell Esselstyn, M.D., emphasizes the need to change standard approaches to heart disease. He explains why common methods of treating heart disease, such as stent and bypass surgeries, may have their place among a minority of patients, but for the vast majority, they are not as effective as low-fat, plant-based diets.

It’s good news that renowned and respected physicians are raising awareness on the benefits of a plant-based diet that in many cases such as the one above, can mean avoiding major surgeries. A plant-based diet is a great way to honor our bodies, God’s creations!.
