According to the World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF), processed meats
are dangerous for human consumption. WCRF has reviewed more than 7,000
clinical studies covering links between diet and cancer, and the
conclusions are unequivocal: there is a definite link between processed
meats and certain cancers.
The reasons seem to be the fact that processed meats are produced
with a carcinogenic ingredient known as sodium nitrite used as a color
fixer by meat companies to turn packaged meats a bright red color so

Once again we learn about one of the unethical practices of the meat
industry that causes much disease in humans. Our fast food nation of
processed people might not realize the dangers of eating the typical
American diet; dangers that carries devastating consequences to our
health, God’s animals and the environment. It’s so much easier to eat a
well-balanced plant-based diet than dealing with cancer or watching a
loved one suffer with this disease!
