The results of a survey conducted by NPR-Truven Health Analytics
Health Poll of 3,000 adults across the country in regards to their
meat consumption indicates that people in the U.S. are eating less
read meat. It seems that health concerns are a driven force behind
this trend but also the increasing awareness of animal welfare and
environmental issues.

It’s great to learn people are learning that red meat (actually
any kind of meat) is not only unhealthy but disastrous for the
environment and, of course, for those of God’s animals who are
killed and abused for their flesh. If we want to see a healthy
world, socially, spiritually and physically we all should do our
best to transition to a plant-based diet.
