According to leading water scientists, the world population
expected to reach 9 billion in 2050 will suffer from food shortages,
which would lead humanity to eat mostly a vegetarian diet because of
water scarcity and the high demand of animal products. A report on
this dire warning will be presented at the start of the annual world
water conference in Stockholm, Sweden.

While the thought of feeding 9 billion people seem like an
impossible task given water scarcity and other factors, it really is
not. The answer is simple and easy: to adopt a plant-based diet.
Provided food is distributed so it reaches everyone in the world,
the grain currently produced can feed everyone and more. The problem
is that we feed most of the grain to livestock, not to people. But
thankfully, this is changing with more people going vegetarian/vegan
every day.
