A new study published this month in IOP Publishing's journal
Environmental Research Letters concludes that the effects of global
warming will be felt for thousands of years as far as the rising of
sea levels goes. Professor Huybrechts, co-author of the study, said
that "Mankind should limit the concentration of greenhouse gases at
the lowest possible level as soon as possible. The only realistic
option is a drastic reduction of the emissions. The lower the
ultimate warming will be, the less severe the ultimate consequences
will be."

It's imperative we curb the emissions of green-house gases or the
generations to come will pay greatly for our irresponsibility. Can
we really call ouserlves good stewards of God's Creation when we
ignore the red flags that are so evident? I don't think so.
