Once again, scientific evidence indicates that vegan diets are
linked to a lower overall cancer rate. A new study published in the
journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention that included
69,120 participants from the Adventist Health Study-2, concluded
that vegans had a 16 percent decreased risk of all cancers, and
vegan women had a 34 percent decreased risk for other specific
cancers including breast, ovarian, and uterine cancers, compared
with non-vegetarians.

Plant-based diets are ideal
for our bodies by reducing the rate of cancer and other chronic
diseases. While animal-based diets are still mainstream, Christians
should apply their faith and values (the faith of Christ) at the
time of choosing what to eat, because our choices affect all of
God’s Creation.
