Harvard professor of pediatrics David Ludwig, MD, says that low
fat milk is still high in calories and sugars to be considered
healthy. In fact, he argues that cow's milk is not necessary in a
healthy human diet because calcium can be found in other foods such
as nuts and greens. And, according to the current issue of JAMA
(Journal of the American Medical Association) Pediatrics reduced-fat
milk may be contributing to the obesity epidemic.

Cow’s milk is for calves, not humans. Cow’s milk production
brings much misery to cows and their babies, and to humans as well
because of milk’s negative effects on people’s health. We can
participate in the healing of God’s Creation by making simple
changes in our diet, and replacing milk products with plant-based
options is an important one.
