Swine Factory Farms Affecting Poor People’s Lives Negatively and Damaging the Environment

North Carolina, the second-largest pork producer in the United States, is on the spotlight once again for its polluting pork industry. Residents in Duplin County are speaking up about the lawsuit filed against Murphy Brown, the pork production arm of Smithfield Foods

It turns out that the cesspools, or uncovered waste lagoons from factory farms, have affected their lives in a negative way making it almost unbearable to live in that area.
