Our Silence About Animal Abuse Promotes Abuse of Humans
Comments by Karen L. Moore - 28 Aug 2003

Greetings honorable group, :)

Re: Gandhi, It seems to me he took that milk that is under discussion from care givers that were nursing him back from a long fast. I got the idea that he finally accepted the milk so as to quit annoying the heck out of his care givers. That is, he preferred other to self in the situation.

Years ago I kept trying to bring up the idea of church or fellowship members getting to know each other well enough so that if one became unable to self care, that the others would know what was desired as care.

And that story from Gandhi was one of my prompts. Also, I wanted people to know that if I was the care giver, I probably wouldn't be serving meat or much dairy. No one wanted to discuss. I think church goers are minded to go to a hospital for care as much as any one.

Karen
