Dear Ashley:
Thank you for telling us about the farms and your personal experience. These are the ideal, and they are few and far between. We also haven't encountered any of them in the Northeast, and as we said in an earlier email, even the small farms have a lot of cruelty involved, though to a lesser degree that the factory farms.
But if you really want to live and eat compassionately, you should seriously
consider switching to a plant food diet. We have some wonderful recipes on our
