Animals as Food

I just took action on this issue and thought you might find it interesting too:

The time has come for our government leaders to seriously consider the major benefits that our society could achieve if animal factory farms and slaughterhouses began closing until none exist in the United States.

Everyday there is more bad news throughout the world that is related to the catastrophic disasters that have been caused and continue to be caused by the livestock industry. How terrible does the bad news need to be about the countless hazards associated with the entire meat industry before our leaders wake up.

You can be sure that one day dead animal flesh will be removed from the food chain. The sooner the better for everyone's benefit.

How can humans ever expect to stop killing each other if they cannot do something as simple as not eating meat and not killing animals?

I hope that most of the members of congress will read my message especially these closing quotations by two wise and brilliant man.

"For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seed of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love." Pythagoras, mathematician

"The time will come when men such as I will look upon the murder of animals as they now look on the murder of men." Leonardo da Vinci, artist and scientist
