Animals as Food

I love your site. It has made me a vegetarian. I am trying to convert everyone I know. I have only done 2 so far. It is very hard. My friends seem heartless when it comes to meat.

Here is an example of a message I sent to all my contacts:

Reasons not to eat MEAT:

1. Humans are animals. If we eat meat, that makes us cannibals, and being cannibal is frowned upon in MANY places.

2.Just because they can not "speak" does not mean that animals cannot think, feel pain, pretty much all that we can do except talk.

3.God would not have put animals here if he wanted them to die young.

4.Just because humans have the power to cause pain, suffering, and death to millions of living beings every day, does not mean that we have the right to do it.

5.Vegetarianism and Veganism lifestyles are clinically proven to be healthier than lifestyles with fish and meat. When you eat meat, you are consuming another's fat, blood and guts. That sounds delicious. NOT!

6.Eating meat is eating the EXACT SAME THINGS that are in graveyards and on the roadside.

Thanks for reading.
