Hi Rick:
As Christians, we’re to understand the Hebrew text in the light of Jesus’ teachings, and nowhere in the New Testament are we told that Jesus participated in any animal sacrifice or even ate any meat during the whole time of His incarnate life upon the earth.
Even if I wasn’t kind to you, why would you want to give me a hard time, or for that matter anyone else?
I came to our understanding of living in God’s heavenly will shortly after being born of the Spirit many years ago. We are to bring our Father’s heavenly will to earth as it is in heaven, and that was also the way He created Eden; thus, everything after the Fall must be part of this corrupt world, and we are to avoid such things and understand that they are not of God’s will.
We hope this helps.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
