Hi Rick:

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Our sermon and ministry activities over the weekend consumed our time.

We will try to address your issues by the numbers you used.

1)      We’ll leave it at that. OK?

2)      We did send you scriptures in the attached documents and referenced Jesus’ teaching us to pray for God’s heavenly will to be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). There is no suffering or death in heaven, which means that we are to do everything in our power to end human caused suffering and death here on earth.

3)      There were several vegetarian sects in Israel in the time of Jesus, and as a Nazarene, He was one of them. This was left out of the Bible but it is documented in other texts. They did not sacrifice animals or eat them even on Passover. And nowhere does it say that a lamb was sacrificed or that Jesus ate any lamb, and this practice goes on to this very day. Furthermore all sacrifice ended in the year 70 CE.

4)      God did not kill Aaron for his sin, He seems to have forgiven Him. Also remember that Jesus forgave the women caught in adultery, even though the Law says she was to be put to death.

We hope this helps.

We’ll get to your other email later.

It would take a lot less time doing this over the phone.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
