Animal Stories
Comments by Willem - 20 May 2007
I strongly disagree with this article. According to my memory, the one side of the boma was not unlatched, it was broken by the elephants to get to the molasses and the lucern, which was placed there as feed for the nyala. Most of the escapees were recaptured.
I was at the time doing the capture of those nyala that escaped from those holding pens, we weren't asked anything from there side, or to give a report. Nothing was mentioned to us about the right up's.
Of other reported stories and articles I don't know, just this one that happened to us.
Regards
Willem
