Animal Rights Activism: What's the Best Way?
Comments by Betty - 28 May 2009

I don't know why that is, Maynard. I often think of organizations that rescue animals and keep them for life. I think that we should be very thankful that there are so many organizations which take different approaches to helping.

There are many ways to make things better for animals--through education, rescue, and changing/enforcing laws. Only so many people will go veg or learn to properly treat and care for animals, only so many can be rescued, and it takes time to get laws into effect and then enforced. It is the combination of all those factors that make a difference. That is why no one person should ever think that they can't do enough--even if, at the time, they think it isn't that much.
