Animal Rights Activism: What's the Best Way?

HSUS has become a GREAT organization, have so many other ones.

Wayne Pacelle is an effective post-partisan advocate for animals who PERSUADES others.

Betty has been incredibly keen in bringing up the OTHER groups who seem hidden behind PETA's shadow, despite all the great work they do.

In addition to HSUS, I happen to like MFA (US Midwest) and Elliot Katz's IDA, but I also like FARM, Vegan Outreach, Boston Vegan Association and the emerging abolitionist groups and movement, and more.

But PETA, love them as I do, galls me again and again and again. Yes, some of their work is quite excellent; if an employee messed up your business again and again and again, but tended to do some great work and lots of good work, wouldn't you want to have a heart-to-heart talk with the employee to see whether or not you're REALLY on the same page?
