Hello,
I read your comment on how God doesn't support animal cruelty...but if
the Flood occurred, then God killed untold millions of animals in one of
the worst ways possible: drowning to death. The animals had done nothing
wrong, and God was not angry with them, but he drowned them anyway. He
was angry at humans, so if he's all-powerful then he could have easily
just caused all humans to drop dead without destroying so much innocent
life. But he didn't do that.
Doesn't that make God at the very least entirely indifferent to animal
suffering? I do understand that sovereignty would mean he can do
whatever he wants to anything he creates...but that's beside the point.
From the biblical evidence itself, though, isn't it pretty clear that
God abuses animals?
Thanks,
Derek
