God and Suffering
Comments by Elyse - 14 Jan 2009

Hi,

In response to Frank and Mary's recent message ending with: "And as was pointed out early in the discussion, most people don't want to listen or know the truth...So, we are faced with the challenge of what we can do to change this attitude...Your thoughts?"

My thoughts: in order to convince people of the truth, we have to walk the walk as well as talk the talk so that people can see, over time, the work of God upon our lives Believe me, once we start talking about living a Godly life to the ungodly, and veganism to omnivores, they will watch us very closely ("like hawks," as the saying goes). Once we have sufficiently demonstrated to them that we are not hypocrites, they will continue to scrutinize us to measure the real benefits of our choices-----a secular person might say, "the proof is in the pudding" and a Christian would probably say "Ye shall know them by their fruits" from Matthew 7:16.

Blessings in Jesus Christ,

Elyse
