Dear Nico:
Your charity causes a lot of pain and suffering to both humans and animals. This means that the "choice", as you say, to give is not ethical, since it causes the suffering of other living beings.
When you give people animals to raise and eat, you also give them some of the very diseases you want to eliminate, as well as other new ones, and in the process you harden the hearts of the people you say you want to help.
If you really want to help these people, help them to grow sustainable plant foods.
