I think we need to be careful when dealing with this popular program, because it's easy to appear "anti-human." It may be better to express "concerns" about this program rather than outright opposition.

Concerns would include animal welfare considerations and also the observation that many poor people need to eat food themselves, not inefficiently convert grains into animal foods. But, many poor people who don't have access to high-protein plant foods need some animal foods for good health, so I don't see it as a black-and-white issue.
