Frank L. Hoffman Interviewed: Understanding the Bible and the Teachings of Jesus
Comments by Frank L. Hoffman - 10 Apr 2003

Dear Deanna:

When you wrote, "this statement speaks volumes about this ministry in general and also of your ability to get through to each of us in particular", were you referring to those close to the ministry?  If so, we agree with you.  We had some of these problems in the churches when it came to animal issues, but rarely in the area of infighting like we're having on the VC List, but them again, we're not having problems getting the animal and vegan issue across to list members.  Even Jesus had problems getting His message across to many people.

The most import aspect of the "fruit" is not so much the message, as it is the presenter of the message.  If the person is seen as a loving, compassionate, peacemaker follower of Jesus Christ, then those who are open to receive the message will receive it with joy, because they have tasted of the fruit at the same time they received the message and it became that much more believable. This also brings us to the second part of your letter about our receiving the intent of Biblical teaching through the filter of God's perfect love. It all works together.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank
