Living in Joy in an often Joyless World

Dear Heidi,

My heart goes out to you...

It is very tough to be awake in a world, where most are still sleeping.....

If you're anything like me, you probably wish you were not awake at all, but merely having a nightmare, that you would at least eventually wake from.

I find it extremely hard some days; but I have found the only solution to staying joyful is to keep my mind focused on God and His Goodness, and I keep visualising 'Happy animals and happy people, all living together in a climate of kindness and respect.

Every time my mind wanders back and focuses on the plight of the animals, I bring it back again to that same theme. This is the only thing that keeps me both joyous and sane.

You might think you are heading for darkness, but I see you as already enlightened.
