I have recently stopped eating meat. I grew up starving, so I was very aware of what I was eating or not getting to eat. I deeply loved animals and we (my husband and I) usually house about 15 to 20 animals at our place. Then.........I realized that the two things were not compatible, loving animals and eating animals. It is like loving people and growing tobacco. It was a logical step. Reason and science entirely support a meatless diet.
In a high school English class, my teacher assigned two students, one pro and one con, to a variety of subjects. Then you had to debate your assigned subject. She chose whether you were pro or con. Let the dissenters debate and prove their case.
